Ring design sought

Linda Trevarthen (Griego), Class of 1977, lost her class ring in a burglary of her home recently and is hoping to replace it with a new one.

If anyone can provide a description of the class ring for 1977, or better yet a photo of one, it would help her greatly in getting a replacement from Josten's. Linda can be reached at motobikemike@msn.com. Mahalo!

And speaking of rings, Lori Kaapua is being reunited with her class ring that was also stolen years ago. John Landess of Tennessee found it on a beach in Maui or Oahu several years ago and eventually managed to get in contact with her through the alumni association and Mike Ishihara of PCHS.

Defensive flying
With the hard-learned lessons of what terrorists can do with an airliner in mind, Mike Young (Class of 1974) has put together a self-defense training seminar for airline flight crews and frequent-fliers. It's intended to empower flight crews and passengers with the ability to protect both themselves and their flight in the event of a terroristic takover. Packing Light

Lani Teshima (Class of 1981) put together a website designed to help those who want to get away from it all without having to lug it all, too. Check out her useful tips at http://www.travelite.org

Lani is also putting together a website for travelers who depend on their personal electronic organizers (Palms, etc). The URL for Pilotlite is http://www.pilotlite.org
She also does a regular travel column for the family vacation site, MousePlanet.com. Read her articles at http://www.mouseplanet.com/lani/

Reach out and (virtually) touch someone

Keith Pang, class of 1987, has put a discussion board online at his website, http://pchs.nrgworks.com. Besides our Alumni Updates page, this is yet another way of getting in contact with fellow classmates. You can reach Keith at kpang@hispeed.com.

Pearl Harbor under attack again!

Well, not exactly. Pearl City residents get a glimpse of Disney's production of the movie "Pearl Harbor". See various reports and video clips at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin's website:
