Student-requested projects seeking support

Students attended a recent board meeting, and gave us an insight into how the PCHSAA could help the school. A number of wonderful suggestions came up including:

-- Building a dedicated walkway from the football stadium toward the school.
-- Building a courtyard to replace a bare (red!) dirt (or mud) along with a couple of benches.
-- Adding more benches for seating areas around the campus. Many of the benches have been vandalized or destroyed.

There were other suggestions, but these really stood out! Unfortunately, it takes quite a lot of money to do most of these projects, so we're asking anyone out there to join us in a donation of time (design/architectural), money (we can always use financial help!), or labor (construction). Let us know how you would like to help!

News crews from every media organization gather for a press conference with HPD officials. "Live" trucks and cameras took over the lawn in front of the Waimano Home Training facility.

You want us to do what?

Someone with a little spray paint and too much time on their hands did some mischievous copy editing recently on a sign along the driveway.

Wells Week 1998
Wells and leis David Wells, from Boise Idaho, gets innundated by leis from adoring band students at the end of Wells' Week. He runs a seven-day, grueling training program for the PCHS band every summer for the Cavalcade workshop. On the last night, after performing the whole routine for their parents, the appreciative students traditionally bury Wells with leis made of anything from yarn to potatoes. This year he got a life vest, too.
